Liquidations, order books, open interest and funding across the big exchanges, recorded by us and shown plainly · 82 coins · updated 22:00 UTC

funding · longs pay most
- none this hour
liquidation bursts · last hour
- none this hour
What it shows: What stands out this hour across the cryptocurrencies: the coins moving most, where funding is most one-sided, where open interest is jumping, and where liquidations run far above that coin's usual hour.
How to read it: Each tile is a place to look, not a call. Funding is a yearly figure, longs paying when green. Open interest rising fast is new borrowed money arriving; falling fast, positions closing, often by force. A burst is an hour of $50k or more and at least 3× that coin's average hour of the day. Funding at the usual resting rate, about +11% a year, is not crowding, so it is left out. Only coins with $25M or more in open interest are counted: a thin coin swings wildly and would top every tile.

Crypto · the 20 largest by open interest
Tokenised · the 10 largest by open interest
What it shows: Each market's price, its change over 24 hours and a line of its day: the crypto coins and the tokenised markets (gold, silver, oil, index funds and shares) with the most open interest, the US dollars in open futures positions across the exchanges recorded.
How to read it: Green up, red down. Open interest is where the money is, so these are the markets the most traders hold. Click one for its own page, or "all" for every market of its kind.

Liquidated per hour ▲ shorts ▼ longs
What it shows: Positions closed by force each hour, all coins, on OKX, Bybit, Binance and Gate: shorts above the line, longs below. An exchange liquidates a trader when losses use up the money behind a borrowed position.
How to read it: A tall red bar: a fall that forced out buyers; green, a rise that forced out sellers. Forced orders push the price further the same way, so big bars mark the day's violent moves.

What it shows: The day in a few numbers, across every cryptocurrency (gold, XAUT, is left out: it moves on its own).
How to read it: Vol: how much a price swings, as a yearly figure. Tightest pair: the two coins that moved most alike; loner: the one least like the rest. Funding: what longs pay shorts (or shorts longs) as a yearly rate; highest is the most crowded long. Open interest: the US dollars in open futures positions. Resting within 1%: the US dollars waiting in the order books near the price. The best, worst, vol, pair and funding lines count only coins with $25M or more in open interest, so a thin coin does not top them every day; the rest count every coin.

newest in the Lab: #67 · Real liquidation clusters: magnets, turns, or neither? · Not shown
Recorded from public exchange data: order books from Coinbase and OKX every five minutes; liquidations, open interest and funding from OKX, Bybit and Binance, and from Gate (from 13 Oct 2026); open interest and funding from Bitget, MEXC and Hyperliquid (from 13 Oct 2026; none publishes liquidations). The coins: the 30 most-traded USDT perpetuals on Bybit (24-hour turnover, 12 Oct 2026) that also trade on OKX and Binance, plus a few kept for continuity; the list is fixed, not re-ranked. Added on 13 Oct 2026, each group chosen once the same way and fixed: the 8 most-traded meme coins on Bybit, three commodities (silver, WTI and Brent crude oil), and the next 22 largest coins by market cap, all on all three exchanges. The Lab keeps to the first list.
