Funding is what one side of a perpetual pays the other to keep its price near the coin's: positive, longs pay shorts. Weighted: the exchanges' average, weighted by open interest. Gap: the highest less the lowest, in percentage points. +11.0% is the usual resting rate (0.01% every 8 hours) that many exchanges charge when neither side is crowded.
How to read it: Green, longs pay: traders lean long. Red, shorts pay. The red-edged cell is the dearest exchange to be long on, the green-edged the cheapest. A wide gap is traders on one exchange crowding a side the others do not; gaps that wide tend not to last, as traders hold the cheap side on one and the dear side on another.
